The Wild Wood
Five acres of beautiful woodland is right on your doorstep and beckoning you to explore and make your own adventure right here at Libbear Barton. Depending on the season, there are mounds of bluebells, a badger’s hide, barbecues in hidden dells, a stream for paddling and much more. Just imagine walking right into the pages of The Wind in the Willows!
Each property has its own private garden where you can make use of the gas BBQs, garden furniture and trampolines.
40 Acres to Explore
Libbear Barton is a 40 acre working farm. Throughout the different seasons you can enjoy watching the tractors at work on the farm, sowing the seed or harvesting the crop. Our beautiful lake is home to ducks, Canada geese and moorhens, with lots of babies in the Spring. And there is nothing nicer than a quiet stroll around the lake in the early morning or at dusk when you might spot some deer, a bat or two or even the beautiful barn owl. Just as in the Wind in the Willows, many swallows return each Spring from Africa to make their home at Libbear Barton.
