Beaches
There are some lovely beaches just a short half an hour drive away from Libbear Barton. Widemouth Bay is a long open bay, popular for surfing and when the tide is out, there are lots of rock pools to explore. Why not grab a coffee (or hot chocolate) from the café on the beach before heading down for a wander.
Dartmoor
Dartmoor is right at the heart of Devon – with it’s iconic Dartmoor Ponies and semi-wild herds all over the moor, it truly is a thing of beauty. It has many safe and quiet areas where you can picnic with the family but it also has magical ancient landscapes, granite tors and deep wooded valleys to explore!
