Badger’s House
Badger’s House is one of our three barns, converted from a cowshed and dairy into a delightful and spacious cottage, sleeping nine in four bedrooms. With its larger room size and bigger garden, it is the most spacious of the three cottages, and can sleep nine adults across four bedrooms. The French doors from the large, comfortable living room with wood-burning stove lead onto a pretty enclosed garden and patio – just the place for your cream tea or barbecue while the children enjoy the trampoline! There is a well-equipped kitchen with a pine dining table, large enough for all the family or group of friends.
A pretty ground floor twin bedroom and bathroom make this cottage an ideal choice for a multiple family group or for those who may need to be all on one level. Upstairs there is a double ensuite with stunning views across the lake, a further double, a family bathroom and a lovely bedroom which can either have a superking-size bed with extra single, or a Goldilocks-style bedroom for three plus a cot - you choose.
Beautiful Grounds
Libbear Barton is straight out of Wind in the Willows. There are 40 acres to explore, including walks and adventures in the Wild Wood, a lake, stream and plenty of birds and wildlife – swallows, bluebells, a tractor making hay – and you may even see a badger. Between times, there’s a great choice of onsite facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, games room and a great playground for the little ones. Something for everyone.
Badger’s House Ground Floor
Access
Access to Badger's House from the car park is on a gravel path. The property is accessed on the same level as the path (i.e. no steps).
The ground floor is all on the same level and has carpet flooring in the living room.
The kitchen, hall and bathroom have vinyl flooring. The first floor is accessed from a carpeted staircase and carpeted throughout.
