We're proud of our holiday cottages, and we think there is no better way of showing you this than letting our past customers tell you of their experiences at our cottages.  Each time you visit this page you will find another set of wonderful comments!

Our clients have provided comments on the local attractions and ideas for days out as well, so we have developed a Libbear Barton Family Friendly Attractions googlemap, with all the personal recommendations from our guests and we are also working with some fantastic good quality attractions to bring our guests some fantastic offers - watch this space!

The accommodation was absolutely wonderful. A gorgeous manor house, with beautiful decor and set in lovely grounds. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. The games room was well equipped and well used, as was the sauna, gym, sauna and pool. The pictures doesn't do the property justice!!

12 lovely ladies (+ 1 responsible male) spent 2 enjoyable days chatting, eating, walking, drinking, dancing, chatting, swimming and chatting to celebrate Sarah’s forthcoming marriage.  We loved the enormous house and enjoyed cooking and dining around the table.

Accommodation on arrival was very clean and very welcoming. A very good and relaxing weekednd. Pool and games room were well used!

The week has been brilliant and the house has been made so comfortable to stay in.  I was very impressed with the amount of baby equipment made available for us.  I especially loved cooking on the Aga for all the family.  It’s a holiday I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the Farmhouse for Christmas 2009 – three generations, 8 adults and 6 children including boy triplets of 2 ˝ years, a girl of 9 and two more boys of 5 and 12. We had a fabulous and stress free Christmas thanks to the layout of the house with the playroom off the kitchen and thoughtful gate and door hooks to keep the youngest out of harm and plenty of things for the older children to do.

The house is well equipped and ideal for children of all ages. However as adults you do not feel that there has been a compromise – all the rooms are furnished comfortably and the ‘adult’ room filled with deep armchairs and  sofa and the carpets are light coloured – it is all well looked after. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware and a food mixer as well as basic kitchen tools. The beds are good and the linen attractive (take your own towels) and the lighting is good.

The heating works well and we lit only the central log fire for atmosphere – no smoke and a solid guard.  The swimming pool was warm and well used by adults and children as was the soft play area and the many other games on offer. A lot of thought and many years of experience have  gone into the planning of the house!

All in all we could not have wished for a better environment in which to spend a family Christmas.

Thank you for an amazing weekend. The cottage is beautiful and we’ll all remember my hen party.

The house is really superb, spacious and beautifully decorated and very well equipped – that was the best thing, every utensil we could ever need.  We soon mastered the Aga, now everyone wants one!

We came for my 40th birthday and the cottage and facilities exceeded our expectations.  Beautiful cottage, pool, fantastic games room.  The Half Moon pub in Sheepwash served a fabulous meal.  Would definitely come again.

We woke up on Saturday to beautiful weather, which prompted us to decide upon a BBQ for dinner.  The girls headed to Waitrose and the guys headed for the pool and played Dangerball! We had a fantastic stay here and already planning our next stay.
